Donne Cat

Mrrrr Friends,

My cat pal Alex is not well.  I would like to note, however, that after 100ml of lactated ringers she took the opportunity to smack me in the head....this act of defiance reassures me. I wish she would eat though.

I love her. Seeing her struggle makes me very quiet and contemplative. I go often to my rock in my brook in the mornings.

A cool dude cat once said:

No cat is an island, entire of itself; every cat is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Felinedom is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: any cat's death diminishes me, because I am involved in catkind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee.

Send good vibes to Alex the cat.

Yeah, I know the above has been attributed to that John Donne dude (Meditation XVII), and he's cool, but I'm quoting the original, written by his cat companion and passed down via an oral tradition by cats for centuries.
